Marc A. Wites is an experienced rider and equine attorney. Marc’s 30 plus years as a lawyer and horse person includes, on the horse side, training and showing in dressage, cross-country, and jumping, as well as fox hunting and trail riding, and buying and selling his own horses, including international purchases and sales.
It is from this practical background that Marc works as an attorney representing equine professionals and participants. Marc is an accomplished lawyer. He has worked on equine matters since 1994, ranging from representing injured persons in horse-related accidents to representing horse professionals in cases for unpaid commission cases.
Marc is the author of The Florida Litigation Guide. He graduated from The University of Florida College of Law, where he was on the Florida Law Review, and earned his undergraduate degree in business from The University of Michigan. Marc’s equine law articles have been published in The Florida Bar Journal and The Chronical of the Horse.
