As a result of a class action settlement, Wites & Rogers, along with their co-counsel, Robbins Geller Rudman t Dowd LLP, presented a $100,000 donation to the Alzheimer’s Association. The donation was part of a class action settlement obtained by the two law firms after 8 years of litigation in state and federal trial and appeals courts.
Ellen Brown, RN, MS, Chief Executive Officer of the Alzheimer’s Association Southeast Florida Chapter, accepted the donation on behalf of the organization, whose vision is A World Without Alzheimer’s, and works towards its mission “[t]o eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
